Hawk - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee · Apr 25, 11:52 AM

On March 14, 2004, a woman and her son and her sister were riding the Hawk at Rockin’ Raceway in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The Hawk is a Zamperla Hawk 24. While at the top of the cycle, her restraint failed and she fell to her death. Criminal and civil litigation followed, with the park owner being convicted of manslaughter and the civil litigation settling.

I wrote a fair amount about this case on my old site; I’ll try to transfer those posts over here eventually.
